Cara Delevingne "cried" when Stevie Nicks came to see her perform.

The 34-year-old star was so overwhelmed when she met the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman after her concert in Los Angeles that she remembers very little about their interaction, but she was very moved when the legendary singer told her she "related" to her music.

Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cara said: "She came, I thought I saw her in the crowd, and then I felt like I performed the whole thing to her.

"I'm not sure what I said [when we met afterwards]. I think I blacked out. But she was crying. She cried. And she gave me this ring off her finger.

"She said she bought it when she was on tour way back when and that she felt the pain in my music and that she really related to it and heard it. That was a really crazy moment."

During her appearance on the show, Cara performed her song Crazy, Baby, which she wrote for her partner Minke, even though the singer - whose real name is Leah Mason - "hates grand gestures".

She said: "It's a song I wrote about my partner. I'm not great at writing happy songs.

"She changed my life and I love her so much but we are British and she hates grand gestures - so this is the worst thing I could possibly be doing. But we all love to embarrass our partners.

"It's a song apologising for writing this song.

"We went to school together and she's the most important person, I wouldn't be doing this without her. Don't make me cry."

Cara has previously spoken about her struggles with addiction and after getting sober in 2022, the Paper Towns actress is determined to do whatever she can to help other people.

She said: "I got sober and I finally love myself and believe in myself.

"I want to help others. I have a song called The Mask and at one of my shows, a girl was crying and said thank you and that she was autistic and it meant so much to her."
