Prince Harry is returning to the US later this month, just a few weeks after moving back to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, left California for an indefinite relocation to England at the end of August, but it has now been announced the 41-year-old prince will make an appearance at Bill and Hillary Clinton's Global Initiative annual meeting in New York City on September 22 and 23.

Harry - who previously took part in the event in 2024 - will be part of a lineup that also includes model Chrissy Teigen, science broadcaster Bill Nye and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman.

The organization said: "This year's meeting is organized around the theme 'How Do We Get It Right?', charting out an affirmative vision for the future amidst rising turmoil, division, and continued cuts to government funding."

Topics on this year's agenda include "mitigating the risks" of artificial intelligence and "driving innovation," climate and energy resilience, democracy and "what it takes to rebuild trust, safeguard civic institutions and protect journalists when headlines and algorithms constantly emphasize our differences," humanitarian response efforts, economic opportunities and health and "sustaining research and innovation at a moment when funding and trust are both under strain."

Just a day before the New York event, Harry will take part in his first public engagements in the UK since his return.

The prince has been patron of WellChild for 18 years and will join the winners and their families for the annual awards show in London on September 21.

Before the ceremony, Harry will host a private reception for the young recipients and their relatives, as well as present the prize for Inspirational Child (aged 4-6) and deliver a speech.

He said in a statement: "It is always a privilege to be part of the WellChild Awards and to meet the extraordinary children, young people, families and professionals whose courage and determination inspire us all.

"This year feels particularly special as we celebrate 20 years of the WellChild Nurse program; two decades of supporting thousands of children and families and helping them to live more of their lives at home."

Harry's other commitments this month include the launch of the INSPIRE educational initiative and the first Invictus Spirit Awards.

It is not currently known if Meghan will accompany her husband to any of the events, either in the UK or in New York.
